Right after news broke that Victoria Moody died at 18 years of age, anti-vaccination activists immediately claimed that the high school cheerleader died from vaccine-induced sudden death (SADS \/ VIDS \/ VDS)!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s now a tradition for anti-vaccination activists to immediately blame all deaths or illnesses on the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n

This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS<\/span><\/strong> created and propagated by anti-vaccination activists, and here are the reasons why\u2026<\/p>\n

Fact #1 : <\/span>Victoria Moody Died During Surgery<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Victoria Moody (born Victoria Leanne Moody on August 13, 2004) passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 \u2013 just two months after her 18th birthday.<\/p>\n

On Sunday evening, she did not feel well, so her father, Brian Moody, took her to the hospital. There, she was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism \u2013 blood clot(s) in her lungs.<\/p>\n

Her sister, Sierra Brooke McCarthy explained that \u201cshe apparently had a pulmonary embolism that was just too far advanced to stop it<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n

She underwent surgery, but did not survive as her mother, Christy Leanne Ausbrooks, explained in a private Facebook post.<\/p>\n

Her family buried<\/a> Victoria Leanne Moody at the Christ Church cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas, on Friday, October 28, 2022.<\/p>\n

So let me be clear \u2013 Victoria Moody did not die from a COVID-19 vaccine side effect of any kind.<\/strong> Her cause of death was most likely surgical complications following pulmonary embolism.<\/p>\n

Fact #2 : <\/span>Pulmonary Embolism Is A Common Cause Of Sudden Death<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pulmonary embolism is usually caused by blood clots that develop in the leg, a condition known as Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), and travel through the right side of the heart and get lodged in the arteries of the lungs.<\/p>\n

This blocks blood flow to parts of the lung \u2013 a life-threatening condition that causes many cases of sudden death every year.<\/p>\n

According to the American Heart Association<\/a>, pulmonary embolism was a factor in over 36,000 deaths in the United States in 2018 alone. In fact, pulmonary embolism is the third-leading cause of cardiovascular death!<\/strong><\/p>\n

On top of that, the rate of pulmonary embolism has been climbing by 2.1% per year<\/span> since 2008, with young adults accounting for about 36% of all deaths, according to 2020 research<\/a> by Dr. Karlyn Martin of the Northwestern University\u2019s Feinberg School of Medicine.<\/p>\n

\"Why<\/p>\n

Fact #3 : <\/span>Deep Vein Thrombosis Is Not VITT<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Some anti-vaccination activists are trying to tie Victoria Moody\u2019s deep vein thrombosis with vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT).<\/p>\n

They are two completely different conditions, even though they both present with blood clots.<\/p>\n

Vaccine-induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT)<\/a> is very specific to the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, although some cases have been reported with the Modern vaccine too.<\/p>\n

Its unique combination of blood clots in large veins<\/strong> of the brains, abdomen and lungs, together with low platelet counts<\/strong> leading to bleeding tendencies, is different<\/span> from deep vein thrombosis, where blood clots develop in the deep veins without low platelet counts<\/span>.<\/p>\n

A Nov. 2021 study<\/a> of over 382,000 patients also showed that there is no increased risk of developing deep vein thrombosis after getting vaccinated with the Pfizer, Moderna or Janssen COVID-19 vaccines.<\/p>\n

Fact #4 : <\/span>Victoria Moody\u2019s PE + DVT Unlikely To Be Caused By Copper IUD<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

According to ZQ<\/a> on Twitter, a fellow church member of the Moody family revealed that Victory Moody underwent surgery to remove a copper IUD (intrauterine device) that doctors thought was causing her to develop the blood clots.<\/p>\n

It is not published. I know a church member of the family that served with me. According to him the surgery was to remove a cooper IUD they thought was the cause. That is how they discovered the dvt. But trolls on twitter ran with a false narrative because of their politics<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

While oddly specific, you don\u2019t need to remove copper IUD surgically. Any healthcare professional can just pull on the IUD strings, and the device\u2019s arms will fold up to let it slide out through the cervix.<\/p>\n

Also, copper IUD is the recommended contraceptive<\/a> for women with a history of of deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, or coronary events. That\u2019s because it\u2019s a non-hormonal form of contraceptive that does NOT increase the risk of developing blood clots.<\/p>\n

Fact #5 : <\/span>Victoria Moody\u2019s PE + DVT Could Be Caused By Birth Control<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

People are speculating that Victoria Moody may have had a birth control implant, or was on contraceptive pills.<\/p>\n

If she had a birth control implant or was on contraceptive pills, she may be at higher risk of developing deep vein thrombosis and\/or pulmonary embolism.<\/p>\n

Hormonal contraceptive implants like Nexplanon<\/em> increase the risk<\/a> of developing serious blood clots, which further increases in women who smoke. There is also an increased risk in women who undergo surgery, or have to be on bed rest.<\/p>\n

Combination oral contraceptive pills, which contain both estrange and progestin, greatly increase the risk of getting blood clots.<\/p>\n

However, I should point out that there is no evidence that Victoria Moody had a birth control implant, or was on oral contraceptive pills.<\/p>\n

I should also point out that removing a birth control implant does not actually require \u201csurgery\u201d. It only needs a tiny nick in the skin after a local anaesthetic is applied, to remove the implant.<\/p>\n

Fact #6 : Unknown If Victoria Moody Was Vaccinated<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It is currently unknown if Victoria Moody was vaccinated against COVID-19, so it would be wrong for anyone to claim that she died from COVID-19 vaccine side effects.<\/p>\n

For all we know \u2013 she may not even be vaccinated! The COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory<\/a> in the United States, despite what anti-vaccination activists may claim.<\/p>\n

For example, anti-vaccination activists claimed that Kaden Clymer was almost crippled<\/a> by a 6-foot long vaccine-induced blood clot, but the high school athlete was never vaccinated<\/a> against COVID-19!<\/p>\n

Fact #7 : Vaccine Side Effects Appear Within Hours \/ Days<\/b><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Even if Victoria Moody was fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, he definitely received her vaccine doses many months ago.<\/p>\n

She cannot possibly have died from a vaccine side effect, because they appear within hours or days, not many months later.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mild side effects like injection site pain, fever, muscle ache, headache, lethargy develop within minutes to hours of the vaccination.<\/p>\n

Anaphylaxis develops within minutes<\/span>, while other severe adverse reactions like myocarditis<\/a> and VITT<\/a> develop within days<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The spike proteins produced by the COVID-19 vaccines also do not stick around for months.<\/strong> If these spike proteins are permanent (as antivaxxers claim), we would have lifelong immunity.<\/p>\n

Your own immune system will identify the spike proteins as foreign, and destroy them<\/span> within a matter of days, although some may last for up to a few weeks. This is part of how vaccines teach your immune system to identify the enemy and destroy it.<\/p>\n

Fact #8 : <\/span>Deaths \/ Injuries From COVID-19 Vaccines Can Be Proven<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite anti-vaccination activists chalking up celebrity deaths to the vaccine; death or injury from rare vaccine adverse effects like anaphylaxis, myocarditis<\/a> and VITT<\/a> can be proven.<\/p>\n

Anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction) from Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines happens within minutes<\/span>. That\u2019s why people are asked to wait for 15-30 minutes after getting the vaccine. People who get an anaphylactic shock will require an epinephrine shot to quickly relieve it.<\/p>\n

Vaccine-induced myocarditis<\/a> has distinct histopathology findings that are different from typical myocarditis, so a pathologist will be able to determine if the myocarditis was caused by the vaccines or otherwise.<\/p>\n

Vaccine-induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT)<\/a> is very specific to the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. It is also easily differentiated by its unique combination<\/span> of blood clots in large veins<\/strong> of the brains, abdomen and lungs, together with low platelet counts<\/strong> leading to bleeding tendencies.<\/p>\n

This is yet another example of anti-vaccination activists abusing athlete deaths \/ injuries to create and propagate FAKE NEWS<\/strong> about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.<\/p>\n

So far, claims of athlete deaths \/ injuries due to the COVID-19 vaccine have been proven false at every instance<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Will these anti-vaccination activists apologise for lying to you? Nope! They will just move on to the next athlete tragedy\u2026<\/p>\n
