{"id":21856,"date":"2022-11-02T05:17:01","date_gmt":"2022-11-02T06:17:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peymantaeidi.net\/stem-cell\/?p=21856"},"modified":"2022-11-02T06:42:59","modified_gmt":"2022-11-02T06:42:59","slug":"2023-tinubu-is-one-of-the-most-demonised-nigerians-shettima","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peymantaeidi.net\/stem-cell\/2022\/11\/02\/2023-tinubu-is-one-of-the-most-demonised-nigerians-shettima\/","title":{"rendered":"2023: Tinubu Is One Of The Most Demonised Nigerians \u2013 Shettima"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/peymantaeidi.net\/stem-cell\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Tinubu-Shettima-new.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\" alt=\"image\" \/><\/div>\n<h2>The Vice Presidential candidate of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naijanews.com\/topic\/apc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">All Progressives Congress<\/a> (APC), Kashim Shettima, has claimed that his principal, Bola Tinubu is one of the \u201cmost demonised Nigerians\u201d alive.<\/h2>\n<p>The former Governor of Borno State described <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.naijanews.com\/topic\/bola-tinubu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tinubu<\/a><\/strong> as the true hallmark of leadership, stressing that he has the capacity to lead the country in 2023.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"> <\/div>\n<p><strong>Naija News<\/strong> reports that Shettima said this during Tinubu\u2019s presentation of his action plan before the business community and the organized private sector in Lagos on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The former governor asserted that his principal, among other things, has the experience, track record, and intellect to catapult the nation to a higher pedestal.<\/p>\n<p>Shettima added that if elected, the Tinubu administration would tackle poverty and not glamourise poverty, adding that leadership goes beyond glamourising poverty.<\/p>\n<p>He said, <em>\u201cThis man seated here is one of the most demonised Nigerians but take it from me, the true hallmark of leadership is not the ability to carry a bag of cement. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are not preparing for the Olympics, but an institution that relies on a field of ideas and tracks records and shows me, I dare to challenge you, show me among the people vying for the presidency of this country who has the experience, track record and of course, who has the intellect to catapult this nation to a higher pedestal.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLeadership goes beyond glamourising poverty. We won\u2019t glamourise poverty, we tackle poverty. I won\u2019t tell you I have two pairs of shoes or I have a single wristwatch.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Shettima also took a swipe at the presidential candidates of the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>He added: <em>\u201cLeadership goes beyond spewing dubious statistics or showcasing a mediocre performance as the governor of Anambra State. I respect Atiku Abubakar, but leadership goes beyond high-scale antics. A man who can\u2019t unite his party, I wonder how he can unite a country.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are talking about artificial intelligence or big data or nanotechnology, but the training that an elder statesman got from Kano School of Hygiene was that of wole wole.
