Big tech has too much power. That\u2019s what most people think, according to almost every survey conducted on the topic. So, what can be done about it? That\u2019s where opinions divide.<\/p>\n

Mike Davis, founder & president of the Internet Accountability Project<\/a> says Congress has a golden bipartisan opportunity right now to break up the tech titans. He calls anti-trust the \u201csilver bullet\u201d to solve censorship complaints too. He also supports repealing Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, but that\u2019s a harder nut to crack.<\/p>\n

But Andrew Selepak<\/a>, professor of social media<\/a> at the University of Florida, says the problem is a lot more complex than that. Breaking up big tech isn\u2019t so easy and repealing 230 would be a dystopian disaster.<\/p>\n
