Credit: __Penelope_ \/ Pixabay. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"drop-cap\">Talem Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Immunoprecise Antibodies, has <a href=\"https:\/\/ir.ipatherapeutics.com\/news\/news-releases\/news-details\/2023\/ImmunoPrecise-Antibodies-Subsidiary-Talem-Therapeutics-Announces-a-Multi-Target-AI-Driven-Antibody-Discovery-Collaboration-with-Libera-Bio\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">entered a multi-target artificial intelligence (AI)-driven antibody discovery collaboration<\/a> with Libera Bio.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership will use nanotechnology, which was proven in vivo, for providing antibodies inside tumour cells and provides a potential solution to address the medical challenge.<\/p>\n<p>It will use the LENSai Full Suite of Integrated Intelligence Technology from Immunoprecise Antibodies\u2019 subsidiary BioStrand with the Multifunctional Polymeric Nanocapsules (MPN Technology) of Libera Bio.<\/p>\n<p>The MPN Technology provides an elegant way for delivering antibodies inside tumour cells.<\/p>\n<p>The nanocapsules are designed specifically around the antibodies\u2019 physicochemical properties, for protecting them from degradation in the bloodstream.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, MPNs can provide other biologic modalities or combinations of a biologic as well as a small molecule in the same nanocapsule.<\/p>\n<p>They deliver the compounds through a cell membrane and to intracellular targets.<\/p>\n<p>Under the collaboration, Libera Bio and Talem Therapeutics will together develop new antibodies for use with MPN delivery.<\/p>\n<p>These antibodies will be provided to pharma companies for conducting late-stage development and marketing.<\/p>\n<p>They will investigate two intracellular targets with high unmet patient requirements for providing options to the oncologists who treat them.<\/p>\n<p>Immunoprecise Antibodies CEO and president Dr Jennifer Bath said: \u201cAs we continue to push the boundaries of cancer therapy, the ability to target intracellular proteins has been the \u2018Holy Grail\u2019 in oncology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLibera Bio\u2019s ground-breaking approach of enabling biologics to penetrate the cell membrane and reach previously \u2018undruggable\u2019 targets is an exciting development that has the potential to transform the way we treat cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"share share-bottom\">\n                    <span>Share this article<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Libera Bio and Talem Therapeutics will develop new antibodies for use with MPN delivery.
