MIT Museum Unveils Exhibit on Innovative Technologies
The recently opened MIT Museum in Cambridge, Massachusetts displays not only the best of MIT’s research technologies in the fields of engineering, biology, computer science and nanotechnology, but also interesting and thought-provoking exhibitions that draw visitors by the droves.
One exhibit features a flock of transgenic chickens that have been genetically engineered to lay eggs that contain human proteins that can be used for medical research.
Another exhibit has visitors walk through a portal into a visual representation of a theoretical warp in spacetime.
These exhibits not only showcase cutting-edge research at MIT, but also hope to inspire a new generation to become scientists and engineers.
