Effective treatment for white mold from an Omani student company

MUSCAT: Al Zahra bint Ibrahim Al Hadrami, CEO of Pure Green Company, said: “We have produced a safe, natural and effective product that is extracted from natural waste materials and vegetable oils. It completely affects citrus and almond trees, in addition to pomegranate trees, and its symptoms are pale plant leaves and wilting of stems with a white cottony layer on the affected plant parts.”

She confirmed that the product was registered with the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources, and samples were submitted for laboratory tests. It also obtained quality proof from the Omani Agricultural Society and has been granted intellectual property rights.

Maram bint Abdullah Al Sulaimaniya, Vice President of Pure Green Company, said that the product would serve a large segment of society, including farmers and people interested in agriculture.

According to Amani bint Salim Al-Toubia, Director of Human Resources for Pure Green, said that by next year, the product would be developed with nanotechnology in cooperation with the Oman Agricultural Society. Efforts are on to sign contracts for sale and distribution of the product in the Arab Gulf countries.
